With a strong commitment to sustainability and long-term value creation, CPC Vietnam continuously strives to be a pioneer in plastic recycling, contributing to a greener and more sustainable future for Vietnam and the region.
Challenges – A dual operational and regulatory context
At CPC, our core mission is plastic recycling—a sector that is both operationally complex and subject to strict oversight from international and local regulations. As a fast-growing enterprise operating in both Myanmar and Vietnam, we recognized from the outset that a robust, flexible, and well-integrated ERP system was essential to structure our operations and support our regional expansion strategy. This is what led us to partner with Trobz for the implementation of Odoo ERP at our newly established Vietnamese entity. The project presented a dual challenge: on one hand, we were building an entirely new facility in Vietnam, still under construction; on the other, we needed to adapt and reconfigure our well-functioning processes from Myanmar to align with the specific operational and legal context in Vietnam.
A transparent and adaptive solution
This required a detailed understanding of our workflows, a clear implementation roadmap, and above all, a highly adaptive technical approach. CPC could not afford to deploy a rigid, one-size-fits-all ERP system. Trobz proposed a tailored and transparent methodology: starting with a gap analysis, based on on-site visits to both our Myanmar and Vietnam operations. This gave us a clear rollout roadmap—highlighting both the similarities and differences between the two sites. From there, Trobz presented a “menu” of customization items, allowing CPC to prioritize according to urgency and budget, while leveraging standard Odoo modules whenever possible instead of defaulting to costly custom development. This helped reduce complexity, maintain system stability, and accelerate deployment.
Operational rollout aligned with factory milestones
As planned, each ERP module went live precisely when it was needed, in line with the construction progress of the factory. This modular rollout approach allowed CPC’s internal teams to remain focused on other critical tasks during the setup phase, without being overwhelmed by a full ERP implementation all at once. Today, all core modules—including procurement, inventory, manufacturing, finance, HR, and sales—are live and actively used by our teams in Vietnam. The system is stable, reliable, and perfectly aligned with CPC’s operational workflows.
Main features and customizations: Vietnam
