About the Client

Mộc Phát Service - Trading Joint Stock Company was established in 2004 and produces and supplies melamine-faced boards for interior design, construction and furniture manufacturing. Its manufacturing plant in Bình Dương runs production lines imported from Germany, and its production process follows ISO 9001:2015. As of 2019, the company had one plant and three warehouses covering more than 50,000 m², 20 automated production lines with a capacity of 5 million sheets a year, storage for 950,000 sheets, and more than 3,000 customers in Vietnam and abroad.

The Challenge

Standalone Accounting Software and Scattered Data

Mộc Phát relied on standalone accounting software with no integrated management platform. Data was scattered across warehousing, procurement, production, sales and finance, and financial reports were not automated, which delayed profit analysis and financial planning.

Tracking 950,000 Sheets Across Warehouses

With warehouses in several locations able to hold up to 950,000 wood panels, tracking exact storage positions, stock status and movements by traditional methods had become inefficient and led to errors and losses.

Manual Planning and Cost Tracking in Production

Scheduling and machine coordination for 20 production lines were done by hand, which kept the company from using its full production capacity. Raw material costs were also tracked manually, so the actual production cost of each batch was hard to see and material waste went unchecked.
