Let us tell you the proud story of our 16-year journey - as we conquered one peak after another to become the leading pioneer in Odoo in Vietnam, and broke through to expand globally, reaching partners across the world.
The journey of Trobz began in 2009, when Denis Barbot - now Chairman - happened upon a deeply insightful white paper by Raphaël Ravalyi on open-source ERP systems. That moment sparked a quiet flame of inspiration - the beginning of an ongoing journey of exploration and innovation.

With unwavering perseverance, he fully dedicated himself to researching and shaping a project implementation methodology - one that would later become the core foundation of the unique deployment capabilities that Trobz proudly upholds to this day.  
In 2010, Trobz officially opened its first office in Vietnam under the leadership of CEO Tu Bui. Beyond setting the company’s strategic direction, he laid the foundation for a distinctive corporate culture - one where kindness and integrity consistently took precedence over business goals.
From 2010 to 2014, Trobz experienced steady growth in both project scale and its partner network, marking its early expansion into international markets such as France, Mexico, the Middle East, and Myanmar. During this time, the local team in Vietnam was also built and strengthened, becoming fully capable of delivering large-scale, high-complexity projects.
2015 marked a pivotal milestone in Trobz’s journey with the appointment of Nils Hamerlinck - one of the world’s foremost Odoo security experts - as Chief Technology Officer. His arrival brought a new level of assurance, reinforcing Trobz’s unwavering commitment to information security across all systems. Since then, every solution developed by Trobz has strictly adhered to leading international security standards - forming a robust foundation for delivering large-scale, high-complexity projects worldwide.
Since 2015, Trobz has entered a phase of accelerated growth, affirming its position not only through team expansion but also through the scale and complexity of the projects it delivers. The first major milestone came with CDiscount - one of France’s leading e-commerce platforms - alongside the development of in-house tools that reflect Trobz’s strong technical identity, including TMS, Emoi, and GitLab.

Between 2016 and 2018, Trobz continued expanding its implementation capabilities through strategic alliances, most notably with Smile - one of Europe’s top software outsourcing firms - and Camp2Camp, ranked among the top three Odoo integrators in the region. During this period, specialized engineering teams were also formed to manage high-priority projects such as Canifa, Pubaudit, Showdoo, FoodCoop, Manuchar, and KinderWorld.

To date, Trobz has successfully delivered hundreds of projects across diverse industries, with total execution volume surpassing 1,500 man-days. These achievements not only demonstrate our deep technical expertise but also stand as strong proof of Trobz’s pioneering role within the global Odoo ecosystem.
