stock_picking_volume_packaging

Purpose

This module improves the volume computation on stock moves by taking into account the volume of potential product packaging that can be picked to fulfill the move.

Features

stock.move: Computes volume based on the best distribution of packaging with volume information.
product.product: Overrides volume calculation to include packaging volumes when available, falling back to product volume otherwise.
