This module simplifies and emphasizes the usage of packaging in sales orders by prioritizing packaging selection over product quantity.
Features
- sales: Packaging fields in sale order lines appear before product quantity fields.
- sale.order.line: When selecting a product to sell, its default packaging is added automatically.
- product.packaging: The default packaging is the first one enabled for sales, sorted by sequence.
- sale.order.line: The packaging quantity is set to 1 by default when adding a product.
- sale.order.line: The product UoM quantity is set to the amount contained in the default packaging.
- sale.order.line: When changing the product, the packaging quantity is preserved and the UoM quantity is recomputed accordingly.
- sale.order.line: When changing the UoM quantity, the packaging and packaging quantity are recomputed if possible.
- sale.order.line: If the UoM quantity does not match any suitable packaging, the packaging is removed.
- sale.order.line: Setting UoM quantity to 0 resets to the default packaging.
- product.packaging: Supports packaging with non-integer quantities without using modulo operations.
