- mrp.production: automatically generates lot or serial numbers for tracked by-product move lines flagged for auto-create when finalizing manufacturing orders, using the standard lot/serial sequence
- mrp.production: preserves existing lot or serial assignments and skips generation for untracked, zero-quantity, or auto-create-disabled by-products
- product.product: respects the auto create lot setting to determine whether a by-product should receive an automatically generated lot or serial number during production
