Expose and propagate stock locations on bills of materials so manufacturing can distinguish and report preferred sourcing points for BoMs and their components.
Features
- mrp.bom: Adds a stored location field that defaults from the BoM's picking type source location and remains editable.
- mrp.bom.line: Mirrors the parent BoM location on each component line for consistent sourcing data.
- mrp.bom views: Shows the location field on BoM forms, lists, and component lines to capture and edit preferred locations.
- mrp.bom search: Provides a location filter and group-by option when searching BoMs.
- report.mrp.report_bom_structure: Prints BoM and component locations in the BoM Structure PDF output.
- mrp.BomOverviewTable: Displays the location column in the BOM overview web report when location data exists.
