base_geoengine

Purpose

GeoEngine adds spatial and GIS capabilities to Odoo so business records can store, analyze, and visualize geodata directly inside the ERP.

Features

geoengine: Visualizes and queries business records on interactive OpenLayers-based maps backed by PostGIS data.
base: Extends every model with geo_* field support, surfacing SRID/dimension metadata and gathering the layers configured for GeoEngine views.
geoengine.vector.layer: Lets admins configure vector layers with styling modes, classifications, attribute bindings, startup behavior, and filter domains for map rendering.
geoengine.raster.layer: Manages raster backgrounds from OSM, WMTS, remote WMS, or Odoo-hosted sources with per-layer opacity, overlays, and edit-target flags.
ir.ui.view: Adds a geoengine view type where projection, map extent, default zoom, and linked raster/vector layers define the map experience.
base.geo_search: Enables combining standard domains with geo_domain operators such as contains, within, or intersect to filter records spatially.
geoengine view: Supports editable map canvases so authorized users can draw new geometries or modify existing records directly in the interface.
