Purpose

Hide empty product categories from the Odoo e-commerce shop navigation.

Features

product.public.category: Computes a recursive boolean flag indicating whether the category or any descendant has products to drive visibility.
website_sale: Removes categories without products from the shop sidebar and collapsible navigation when hiding is enabled.
website_sale: Excludes empty categories from the shop filmstrip navigation when the hide option is active.
website_editor: Provides shop customization toggles to enable or disable hiding empty categories in the sidebar and filmstrip.
