Enables community accounting users to manage company fiscal years by defining their date ranges and exposing them in configuration views.
Features
- account.fiscal.year: Adds a dedicated model and menu so accountants can manage fiscal year definitions per company.
- account.fiscal.year: Enforces that fiscal year date ranges are ordered and non-overlapping within the same company.
- res.company: Computes and displays each company's current fiscal year start and end dates in list and form views.
- res.company: Derives fiscal year boundaries for any given date by combining custom fiscal year records with the company's fiscal year settings to cover gaps.
- security: Grants read access on fiscal years to accounting users while reserving full management to accounting managers and applying multi-company visibility rules.
